A group of 22 steam cars along
with their owners, families, and guests met in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin
during the week of August 13, 2001 for the “Steaming on the Mississippi
Tour”. We participated with our 1917 Stanley and had a great time
exploring southwestern Wisconsin and eastern Iowa. Plus we got an added
treat on Saturday when Keith and Ann Valesh and family invited us to come
to their home and run their two-foot gauge locomotive. It was a fun week.
